Chelsea to buy Pato and Thiago Silva?

Rumour in the UK has surfaced that Chelsea are looking at AC Milan's roster and favouring to invest in two brazilians at once: forward  Alexandre Pato and defender Thiago Silva.  Both have international experience and are considered integral part of Brazil's next footballing generation.  The amount involved may be something in the order of £70 million.  Looks like Abramovich has plenty of dirty pounds to dish out.

AC Milan's financial woes add fuel to the fire.  Also, Carlos Ancelotti has been a long-time fan of Pato's football, and allegedly tried to take him to Stamford Bridge after coaching the young brazilian in AC Milan itself.
